In accordance to Benjamin, it is true that work and one’s production must go over and beyond one’s product. That is, the writer’s production should far reach the character of his own opinions and works. In addition, a concluding quote from Lichtenberg says that “a man’s opinions are not what matters, but the kind of man these opinions make of him.” This is especially important for authors that are also producers.
